Examples of Heat Patina

There are many ways to patina metal. I tend to enjoy the look of a heat patina on copper. To get the the results that you see it requires a very low flame. While also starting out with a very clean piece of copper! It takes some time to get the multi colored look, so have patience when doing the heat patina.

  2. The leaf is absolutely gorgeous. I have a thing for leaves anyway, but this is beautiful. You have a really cool etsy shop :-)

  3. Perfect timing! I was just trying to heat color some of my copper and it didn't work (used a very hot torch). Now I'm motivated to learn more.
